We had earlier reported that Vignesh Shivan will be collaborating with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Samantha Akkineni for a romantic comedy. Titled Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, the film, produced by Seven Screen Studios, will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Now, the makers have revealed that the shooting for the film will begin in August. While the film was supposed to go on floors in April, the coronavirus lockdown forced the crew to push its plans. 

Vijay Sethupathi has previously worked with Nayanthara and Samanatha in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (directed by Vignesh himself) and Super Deluxe, respectively. But this is the first time Nayanthara and Samantha will be sharing screen space.
