Ever since Justice League's release in 2017 to scathing reviews, DC fans held that Zack Snyder's version of the film would have been better. Instead, his replacement Joss Whedon's (The Avengers) version was released and performed decently across the world. However, many fans have been campaigning online for the release of Snyder's version, which is popularly known as the Snyder Cut. A hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut had become a popular over time.

The effors of fans have finally bore fruits as the studio has officially announced that the Snyder Cut will be released on its upcoming streaming platform HBO Max. The new version might be released in 2021, according to the tweet from the official handle of the streaming platform.

Justice League stars Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, and Ben Affleck in the lead roles.
