CE Features

Hollywood star Halle Berry has been roped in to play a lead role in Roland Emmerich's upcoming sci-fi thriller, Moonfall. The Swordfish actor will star alongside Jash Gad, who was the first one to be signed in for the project.

Moonfall, written by Emmerich, Harald Kloser, and Spenser Cohen, is about humanity's mission to stop the moon from colliding with the earth when the natural satellite gets knocked out from its orbit by an unknown force.

The film already has created a lot of anticipation as Emmerich's previous disaster films like Independence Day and 2012 turned out to be huge hits across the world.

Meanwhile, Halle Berry, who was last seen in Keanu Reeves' John Wich 3, has wrapped up her directorial debut titled Bruised, which also stars her in the lead role as an MMA fighter.
