Mysskin to team up with Arun Vijay for Anjathey 2?

CE Features

Director Mysskin, who parted ways with Vishal and left Thupparivaalan 2, was rumoured to work with Simbu in his next. But recent speculations have it that the Pisasu filmmaker will be working with Arun Vijay for a film that might be a sequel to his break-out hit Anjathey.

Reports also suggest that while Simbu was the first hero to be approached, the stakeholders were not able to iron out a conclusive agreement. Thus, Mysskin chose to narrate the story to Arun Vijay, who agreed to come on board. The film is expected to go on floors post the coronavirus lockdown.

Interestingly, Prasanna, who gave a memorable performance as the antagonist in Anjathey, recently shared screen space with Arun Vijay in Mafia.

Arun Vijay had wrapped up GNR Kumaravel's Sinam and was shooting for Arivazhagan's untitled action thriller, co-starring Regina Cassandra, before the lockdown. He also has Boxer, alongside Ritika Singh, and Agni Siragugal, co-starring Vijay Antony, in different stages of production.

Mysskin's last release was Psycho, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Nithya Menen, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
