Keerthy Suresh's Penguin to get a digital release?

CE Features

We had earlier reported that Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film, Penguin, helmed by debutant Eashvar Karthic and produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Productions, had been wrapped up. Now, it looks like the film might get a digital rather than a theatrical release.

According to reports, the film is expected to hit Amazon Prime soon. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

A thriller, Penguin features Keerthy as a pregnant woman. The film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

Notably, it was recently confirmed that Jyotika’s Ponmagal Vandhal would also get a release on Amazon Prime. The decision was met with outrage from theatre owners.

Meanwhile, Keerthy has a number of projects in the pipeline. The National-award winning actor will be part of Rajinikanth-Siva’s Annathe, and she also has the Telugu films, Miss India and Rang De, in her kitty.
