Sony Picture has changed the release schedule of its upcoming films, including Spider-Man spinoff Morbius, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and Tom Holland-starrer Uncharted due to the uncertainty around the reopening of theatres following the coronavirus outbreak.

Morbius, which was set to hit the screens on July 31, will now be released on March 19, 2021. Ghostbusters, earlier set for July 10 release, will now arrive on March 5, 2021, which was the date previously slotted for the release of Uncharted. Tom Holland’s movie will in turn be released on October 8, 2021.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, theatres across the world have been shut, severely affecting the film industry and leading to the delay of many major productions, such as Wonder Woman 1984 and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, among others.
