Prabhas donates Rs 50 lakh to CCC

Actor Prabhas has donated Rs 50 lakh to Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) Mana Kosam to help in relief and financial assistance for daily wage workers of the Telugu film industry amid COVID-19 lockdown. With this, the total contribution announced by Prabhas during coronavirus outbreak stands at Rs 4.5 crore.

CCC, which was set up by actor Chiranjeevi in association with the 24 crafts of Telugu cinema, has earned support and accolades from several quarters. Already the likes of Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Ravi Teja, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, and Vishwak Sen have contributed to the initiative and urged their fans to support the cause.

The celebrities are leaving no stone unturned to raise awareness about the novel coronavirus pandemic spread in the country.

A coronavirus awareness music video featuring a host of actors, including Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, was released on Sunday. Composed by Koti, the video shows the actors urging everyone to fight the virus by staying at home, ensuring physical distancing, and practicing good personal hygiene.
