We had previously reported that Prabhudheva is teaming up with Trisha Illana Nayanthara-fame director Adhik Ravichandran for a film titled Bagheera. It is now known that Gayathrie, who was last seen in K-13 (2019), is also part of the mystery-thriller.

A source close to the unit says, "Amyra Dastur (of Anegan fame) is playing the female lead. But there's also another character that needed someone convincing to pull it off, and Gayathrie fit the bill perfectly. The makers are planning to release the cast list soon."

Produced by Bharathan films, Bagheera has been shot in places like Sri Lanka, Cochin, and Chennai.

Bagheera, which has music by B Ganesan Sekar, also stars Guinness Pakru, who was last seen in Tamil playing a pivotal role in AR Murugadoss’ 2011 film, 7aum Arivu.
