Allu Arjun, Prabhas donate for the fight against COVID-19

Earlier, Telugu superstars Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu also donated to boost the fight against COVID-19

Allu Arjun and Prabhas are the latest additions to the list of actors from the Telugu film industry to donate towards the fight against COVID-19.

In an announcement video, the Ala Vaikunthapurramulo actor said, "The COVID-19 has taken the world by storm and changed our everyday lives, but even at times like this, people like doctors, nurses, military, policemen and many other sectors have done great contribution to our society. With all humility, I would like to announce Rs 1.25 crore to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala." 

On his part, Prabhas donated Rs 4 crore for the cause. While Rs 3 crore was earmarked for the Prime Ministers National Relief fund, the rest was donated to the Chief Minister Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Earlier, Telugu superstars Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu also donated to boost the fight against COVID-19. While Pawan Kalyan gave Rs 2 crore for the cause, his nephew Ram Charan declared a charity of Rs 70 lakh. Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu gave Rs 1 crore for the cause.
