Shooting of Prabhas 21 postponed

CE Features

Prabhas' upcoming film with Nag Ashwin, which was supposed to go on floors in November, has postponed its production to early next year. The move comes in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has indefinitely brought the film shootings and other events to a grinding halt. Touted to be a futuristic sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of an imaginary third world war, the film is being bankrolled by C Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

To be mounted on a budget of Rs 400 crore, the makers call Prabhas 21 a pan-World film, which is expected to release in Telugu and several other regional and foreign languages in 2023. Prabhas was last shooting for his forthcoming romantic entertainer directed by Radha Krishna Kumar in Gergia before it got called off owing to the rise of coronavirus outbreak across Europe.
