Actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, who were diagnosed with coronavirus two weeks ago, shared an update on their health on social media. "Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better," read his post.

He further urged everyone to practice social distancing saying, "Sheltering in a place works like this: You don't give it to anyone - You don't get it from anyone. Common sense, no?"

Hanks and Wilson were in Australia for pre-production work on a film about singer Elvis Presley when they were diagnosed with coronavirus. Hanks is set to play Presley's manager, Colonel Tom Parker, in the film directed by Baz Luhrmann. Production on the project is currently suspended.
