Director Ashwin Saravanan is developing a woman-centric film starring Samantha Akkineni in the lead role. Meanwhile, actor Prashanth had also confirmed that he is in talks with Ashwin Saravanan for his upcoming film. Following this, speculations were rife that Prashanth will play a crucial character in Samantha's film, which is billed as a horror film. 

However, director Ashwin has put an end to these rumours by denying this development about the Tamil-Telugu bilingual that will mostly be shot in Himachal Pradesh and Dehradun.

Meanwhile, Prashanth is currently working on the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit, Andhadhun, directed by Mohan Raja. 

Ashwin Saravanan made his debut with Nayanthara’s Maya, and recently directed Game Over with Taapsee Pannu.
