Coronavirus: Actor Karthi's request to people

Following the coronavirus pandemic, many celebrities have taken it to social media to spread awareness. Actor Karthi is among the latest to share a message on the topic. In an Instagram post, the actor lauded the government, doctors, nurses and their families for taking all precautions and ensuring the safety of people in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. 

He further shared a piece of advice for those still visiting the beach. "Let us support the combined effort, stay at home and practice proper hygiene," he said. 

Karthi was last seen on screen in Jeethu Joseph's Thambi. He is currently working on several projects including Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
