Actor Jai Akash develops new app for movies

The app, called A Cube, will allow users to rent film for a period of two days at Rs 50

Actor Jai Akash, who shot to fame with his role in Anandam, is backing a new app to watch films. Named A Cube, it allows people to pay just Rs 50 and rent a film for two days. 

In a statement, the actor has further added that the first film to release on this app will be Adangatha Kaalai, which he has directed, produced, and starred in. The app will be functional from March 18. Adangatha Kaalai will be available in both Tamil and Telugu. 

In his statement, Jai Akash has also stated that a new film will be made available on the app every week. After Adangatha Kaalai, his next film Puthiya Manidhan (Gothhaka Unnadu in Telugu) will be made accessible through A Cube.

Jai Akash has further added that talks with producers are underway to make more films accessible through the app.
