Tom Hanks shared a picture with his wife Rita Wilson on social media a day after being diagnosed with coronavirus in Australia. In the post, Hanks thanked all those taking care of them and said they are currently in isolation to avoid spreading the disease.

"We are taking it one-day-at-a-time," he added and signed off with a popular line from his film A League Of Their Own, 'There's no crying in baseball'.

Hanks was accompanied by Wilson to Australia for shooting Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic, in which Hanks plays the iconic singer's long-time manager,  Colonel Tom Parker.

With over 134,823 confirmed coronavirus cases, the World Health Organisation has officially declared the disease a pandemic.
