Income tax department officials are investigating at actor Vijay's residence in Panaiyur, ECR. This investigation is reportedly a follow-up of the previous raids regarding the payment he received for Bigil.

Last month, the officials raided the actor's house and questioned him at the Master shooting spot in Neyveli. Premises of AGS Group promoters and the residence and other properties owned by Kalpathi S Aghoram were also searched.

Two days ago, IT officials raided Master's co-producer Lalit Kumar's residence. The search, however, was in connection with Master's pre-release business.

Vijay is reportedly on a holiday trip right now and will return for the audio launch of Master, which is set to take place on March 15 in Chennai. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto, will hit the screens on April 9.

No official comment regarding the matter has been made yet.
