The shooting of Silambarasan TR’s upcoming film, Maanaadu is going on in full swing and actor SJ Suryah has now joined the sets. A few pictures from the sets of Maanaadu have gone viral on social media. The film's producer, Suresh Kamatchi shared these pictures on Twitter. The Monster actor seems to be playing a cop in the film.

Last month, the producer took to the micro-blogging site to welcome SJ Suryah to the film. In reply, the actor-director wrote:

After many delays, Maanaadu is currently back on track. Earlier, the makers of the film were considering replacing Simbu with another actor. On the other hand, Simbu announced a project titled Mahamaanaadu. However, the issues between the actor and the makers were sorted out amicably.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead, and also features SA Chandrasekar, Bharathiraja, Premgi Amaren, and Karunakaran.
