We had already reported that Dhanush will be teaming up with director Karthick Naren for an upcoming film. Now, the young director has announced that writers Sharfu and Suhas have been roped in for the project.

Sharfu and Suhas wrote Faahad Faasil’s hit thriller Varathan and were also part of the writing team for Aashiq Abu’s ensemble medico-thriller Virus. Notably, both of Karthick’s earlier films, Dhuruvangal Pathinaru and Mafia, were written by himself.

While the rest of the cast and crew for the film has not been announced yet, D43 will have music by GV Prakash Kumar. The film will be produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, which also bankrolled Dhanush’s last release, Pattas.

Dhanush is currently working on Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan, and is awaiting the release of Karthik Subbaraj’s Jagame Thandiram. He also has Atrangi Re, with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, in the pipeline.
