Amirtha: Good scripts are taking me places

A Sharadhaa

Bengaluru-based Amritha is going places. The actor, who is known for her roles in Padaiveeran, Kaali, and Bigil, is now set to make her Telugu debut with 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela. She will star opposite anchor-turned-hero Pradeep Machiraju, who plays the solo lead for the first time in the film directed by Munna.

“I am also doing Gramayana in Kannada, opposite Vinay Rajkumar. The film is still in the shooting stages,” says Amritha, who feels lucky to be part of good subjects. “Good scripts are taking me places. I feel fortunate to have come across a film like 30 Rouillo Preminchandam,” she adds.

Amritha says that the love she has been receiving for the song, Neeli Neeli Aakasam, composed by Anup Rubens from 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela is overwhelming. “The track has reached 70 million views, which is no mean feat. This song is the best calling card for our film. I believe this will draw the audience to the theatres,” she adds.

This is the third project produced by SV Babu, who previously bankrolled Andamaina Manasulo, directed by RP Patnayak, and Gautham Patnaik’s Keratam.

The production house is planning to release 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela on March 25, coinciding with Ugadi.
