As Suriya's next film Soorarai Pottru is all set to hit the screens this summer, the film's music director GV Prakash Kumar revealed in a recent event that the next single from the film will be released on Monday (March 9) or Tuesday (March 10).

Ever since Surya shared the poster of the film and introduced his character as Maara, expectations surrounding Soorarai Pottru have been high. So far, a teaser and the singles, Maara Theme and Veyyon Silli, have been released by the team to good reception.

Directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of Air Deccan founder, GR Gopinath. 

The film will feature Aparna Balamurali as the female lead. It also stars Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal, and marks the comeback of veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu, who was last seen in Tamil in the 1980 Rajinikanth-starrer Guru.
