GV Prakash Kumar, music director of the upcoming Dhanush-starrer D43, tweeted that two tunes have been locked for the film and somebody exciting is going to write the lyrics.

Even as the name of the lyricist is still under wraps, speculations are rife that Dhanush might pen a song for the movie.

Directed by Karthick Naren and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the untitled film, tentatively referred to as D43, is set for release this October. However, the production of D43 is yet to kick-off.

Dhanush, who was last seen playing a dual role in the Pongal release Pattas, has completed the second schedule of Mari Selvaraj's Karnan and is currently shooting for Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
