Director J Karuna Kumar, whose debut film Palasa 1978 is set to be released tomorrow, has more to look forward to as producer Allu Aravind, known for encouraging new talents, has come forward to bankroll his next film under Geetha Arts banner.

Aravind, reportedly, gave a token advance to Karuna Kumar and if everything goes as planned, the duo will announce the details of their new project soon.

"A special screening of Palasa 1978 was held for Allu Aravind, producer Bunny Vas, and a few others recently. Impressed with Karuna Kumar's story-telling and visualisation, the veteran producer offered him a movie under his production house. The newcomer is on cloud nine and is looking forward to the shoot," informs a source.

Featuring Rakshit Atluri, Nakshatra and Raghu Kunche in lead roles, Palasa 1978 revolves around Mohan Rao, a Palasa-based artistic youngster from a Dalit family, who realises that his talent will never be rewarded and he can only succeed in life through physical might.
