Khadar Kumar’s directorial debut Veeram, starring Prajwal Devaraj, is all set to go on floors on March 16 and an official launch ceremony has been planned a day ahead of this. The makers have planned a 30-day schedule which will start in Bengaluru.

Rachita Ram plays the female lead in this commercial entertainer, made under Disha Entertainers, which will feature Prajwal as legendary actor Vishnuvardhan’s fan. Rachita and Prajwal will be sharing screen space for the first time in this film. The rest of the cast is still being finalised.

Veeram has music by Anoop Seelin and cinematography by Lavith.

Prajwal, who is overwhelmed with the feedback to his last film, Gentleman, is now looking forward to the release of Inspector Vikram, which will be followed by Arjun Gowda. His other projects include a film each with Ramnarayan and PC Shekar.

Meanwhile, Rachita, who is awaiting the release of Ramesh Aravind’s 100, is dividing her time between her first Telugu film and a couple of Kannada projects — Prem’s Ek Love Ya and Daali, starring Dhananjay.
