Aamir Khan’s staff tests positive for COVID-19, actor takes mother for test 

The actor thanked the BMC for quarantining his staff members, and fumigating and sterilising the society

Actor Aamir Khan on Tuesday confirmed that some of his staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. The actor added that the rest of his family members, including himself, have tested negative. Aamir also shared that he was taking his mother for a COVID-19 test. He urged fans to pray that she tests negative.

In a statement, Aamir wrote, “This is to inform you that some of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. I would like to thank the BMC for taking such good care of them, and for fumigating and sterilising the entire society. The rest of us have all been tested and found negative.”

“Right now I am taking my mother to get her tested. She is the last person in the loop. Please pray that she is negative,” he added.

On the film front, Aamir’s upcoming release is Laal Singh Chadha. The film is the official Hindi remake of Forrest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, it also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Vijay Sethupathi.
