Vimal, who was last seen in Kalavani 2, has a slew of films in his kitty. The actor, whose breakthrough film Kalavani, celebrated its ten-year anniversary recently, has confirmed in an interview that he will be working with Vijay Sethupathi in a film titled Kulasami. Vimal also stated that Vijay Sethupathi will be handling the dialogues and screenplay for the film, apart from playing a never-before-seen character.

Interestingly, the duo, who started as supporting artistes, knew each other even before entering the film industry. 

Vijay Sethupathi, who is awaiting the release of Master, has previously written dialogues for Orange Mittai and Chennai Palani Mars.

Meanwhile, Vimal has Sandakaari with Shriya Saran, as well as Engal Pattan Soththu, Manjal Kudai, Kanni Raasi, Lucky, and Thudikarangal, in the pipeline.
