Vikram to play the villain in Karthik Subbaraj film?

CE Features

A few weeks ago, Karthik Subbaraj surprised everyone by announcing his next film, starring Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram, and sharing the first look poster.

It is said that the yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors right after the coronavirus lockdown ends. New speculations are doing the rounds that Vikram might be playing the antagonist to Dhruv in this film. This goes against previous theories that the latter plays the younger version of his father's character.

It may be recalled that Vikram played a full-fledged antagonist in his 2016 film, Iru Mugan. If the current speculations are right, the Karthik Subbaraj directorial would mark Vikram's first role as a villain to another hero.
