With the coronavirus pandemic pushing theatres to stay locked, several films have been opting for a digital release. Danny, starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, is the latest to join the list. The film will get a digital release on the streaming platform ZEE5. The announcement was made with a tweet from ZEE5 Tamil’s official handle. 

Helmed by LC Santhanamoorthy, Danny will feature Varalaxmi as a gritty cop who is investigating a murder. The film also stars Sayaji Shinde, Vela Ramamoorthy, Anitha Sampath, and Ramar. 

Recently, Jyotika’s Ponmagal Vandhal, and Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin got digital releases on Amazon Prime. On the other hand, films like Andhagaaram, Vaa Deal, and Andava Kaanom will soon be streaming on Netflix.
