Pramod to play titutlar role in English Manja

A Sharadhaa

Pramod is upbeat about playing the titular role in his next, titled English Manja. Director Arya Mahesh, who marked his debut with the Yogi-starrer, Kolara, will be wielding the megaphone for this film produced by Girish.

English Manja will be the director and producer's second project after Tirumala Wines, and their first collaboration with Pramod. The three-film-old actor, after experimenting with varied roles in films like Geetha Bangle Stores, Premier Padmini and Udgharsha, is excited to play this character with grey shades.

English Manja is based on a rowdy backdrop underlined with a love story, and Pramod will be seen playing the role of a student who likes to know everything about crime. "I always had this curiosity as to whats goes in the mindset of rowdies, and I was thrilled when I was chosen to play such a character, and especially in the titular role. Aarya Mahesh has come up with an excellent screenplay," says Pramod.

The team plans to reveal further details of cast and technical crew along with the first look some time down the lane.
