Director Surender Reddy, who last helmed the Chiranjeevi-starrer, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has approached actor Ram with an idea for a youthful entertainer that he developed during the lockdown.

"Suri has been developing the script for a while now and he is in advanced talks with Ram. The story needs an actor who can look stylish and also appeal to the audience with his energetic performance. The duo will meet soon for a final narration," says a source close to the director.

Meanwhile, Ram is awaiting the release of Red, which has been pushed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film is a remake of the Tamil action thriller, Thadam, and also features Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma, and Amritha Aiyer as the female leads.
