Dhanush and Aditi Rao Hydari team up for Kaathodu Kaathanen

CE Features

We had earlier reported that Aditi Rao Hydari will be making her singing debut with a track in Vasanta Balan's Jail, which will have music by GV Prakash. It is now known that the track will also have Dhanush lending his voice. Titled Kaathodu Kaathanen, the track will be released tomorrow as the first single from the film. GV Prakash took to Twitter and made the announcement along with a promo for the single.

Interestingly, this is the fourth film to feature one or more songs sung by Dhanush and composed by GV Prakash. They had earlier collaborated on Aayirathil Oruvan, Mayakkam Enna, and Asuran

Jail, which also stars GV Prakash in the lead, has the actor-composer teaming up again with Vasanta Balan in whose 2006 film, Veyil, he made his debut as a music director.

The cast of Jail includes Radhika Sarathkumar, Abarnathi, and Baahubali-fame Prabhakar. With dialogues from Ramakrishnan and Bakkiyam Shankar, the film has cinematography by Ganesh Chandhrra and editing by Aruvi-fame Raymond Derrick Crasta.
