While promoting Christopher Nolan's Tenet, in which he plays a pivotal role, actor-director Kenneth Branagh spoke about his experience of working with Ali Fazal. Ali stars alongside Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer and Letitia Wright in Kenneth’s upcoming directorial Death on the Nile.

"Ali was a joy to work with, an absolute joy,” Kenneth told PTI in an interview. “He's a total pro. He's a real details man. He was completely caught up in how the character looked, sounded and was able to be very precise, but also very playful. He could improvise when I asked him to improvise. He has a strong sense of humour. He is energetic and physically very adroit, so he was involved in both dancing and in action pieces.”

Death on the Nile is Kenneth’s follow-up to 2017's Murder on the Orient Express. The new film follows detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth) as he investigates a set of mysterious events on a cruise ship on the Nile.
