Bollywood composer Wajid Khan of the Sajid-Wajid duo passed away on June 1. He was 42. In a video posted on Instagram, Sajid Khan has remembered his late brother and collaborator. The video shows Wajid, seated on his hospital bed, playing a tune on a smartphone.

“Duniya chhut gayi, sab kuch chhuta , na tune kabhi music chodda,na music tujhe kabhi chodega (The world and everything is lost, but neither you left music nor will music ever leave you),” the caption reads. “My brother is a legend and legends don’t die. I will always love you. Mere Khushi mein,meri duaaon mein, mere naam mein tu hamesha rahega.”

Sajid-Wajid made their debut with Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998). They would continue to collaborate with Salman Khan over films like Hello Brother, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Dabangg, Dabangg 3 and others. Their other notable albums include Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai, Shararat, Chori Chori, Rowdy Rathore, Main Tera Hero, Daawat-e-Ishq amongst others. Wajid had also voiced popular songs like Soni De Nakhre, Mashallah and Mera Hi Jalwa.
