Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has revealed that she refused an offer to direct another DCEU movie, Justice League, stating that it had too many characters.

The filmmaker said she does not enjoy working on superhero films with shared universes. "Unlike other directors, I don't really care about shared universes, continuity, and that kind of detail. I've been contacted to make a Justice League movie in the past, but it doesn't connect to me. Too many characters," Jenkins said in an interview with a French magazine.

Patty Jenkins upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 has Gal Gadot, reprising her role as Diana Prince (a) Wonder Woman. The film is expected to hit the screens on August 14.
