Rakita Rakita Rakita, the first single from Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj's upcoming film, Jagame Thandhiram, is set to be released on July 28 to mark the actor's birthday. Now, it has come to light that this song has been sung by Dhanush himself along with Dhee. 

The song brings back the hugely successful combination of Dhanush and Dhee. The duo had previously collaborated on Maari 2's Rowdy Baby, which became a viral hit and garnered more than 906 million views on YouTube.

Rakita Rakita Rakita will be released on Tuesday in both Tamil and Telugu. The latter version is voiced by Ananthu and Susha.

Jagame Thandhiram marks Santhosh Narayanan's third film with Dhanush after Kodi and Vada Chennai. Also starring Joju George, James Cosmo, Kalaiyarasan and Aishwarya Lekshmi, the film has cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna.

Jagame Thandhiram was originally planned to hit the screens on May 1, but the release was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. YNot Studios, the film's production house, is yet to announce a new release date.
