Pickaikkaran 2, the sequel to Vijay Antony's successful family entertainer, was announced yesterday, on the occasion of the actor-composer's birthday. Apart from this announcement, a tweet by boxer-turned-actor Ritika Singh confirmed that she will be acting with Vijay in an upcoming film directed by Vidiyum Munn-fame Balaji Kumar. The film will be bankrolled by Infiniti Film Ventures and Lotus Pictures. 

Ritika also shared a poster of Vijay Antony sporting a beard and a hat.

Ritika, who was last seen in the hit romcom Oh My Kadavule this year, has Boxer, alongside Arun Vijay and the long-delayed films Me Too and Vanangamudi in her kitty. Vijay Antony, on the other hand, has Thamezharasan, Agni Siragugal and Khaki in various stages of production.
