Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter are joining hands for a horror-comedy titled Phone Bhoot. Scheduled for a 2021 release, Phone Bhoot is bankrolled by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akthar, and will be directed by Gurmeet Singh. 

The film, written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, was launched today with fun-filled pictures from a pre-lockdown photoshoot. 

"Darna allowed hai, as long as you're laughing along the way. Phone Bhoot, ringing in cinemas near you in 2021," read the official announcement tweet from Excel Entertainment, the production house of Ritesh and Farhan.

Katrina also posted the images from the photoshoot on her Instagram page and captioned it: "The one-stop-shop for all bhoot related problems, Phone Bhoot ringing in cinemas in 2021."

The team will begin shooting later this year.
