Noah Centineo to star in Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam

Actor Noah Centineo will star alongside Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming superhero movie Black Adam, helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

While Johnson will play the lead anti-hero role, Centineo will play the role of Atom Smasher. His character will have the superpower to control his molecular structure with the ability to manipulate his physical characteristics. Johnson has been attached to play the anti-hero for most of the decade.

Centineo is known for his films such as To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love YouTo All the Boys I've Loved Before, and Sierra Burgess is a Loser. He also has several other films, including The Diary and To All the Boys 3, in the pipeline.

Black Adam, a spinoff from Shazam!, is slated for release on December 22, 2021. Adam Sztykiel has written the screenplay. Other details about the plot are yet to be revealed.

Jaume Collet-Serra has already directed Johnson in Disney's Jungle Cruise.
