There have been reports that Mani Ratnam will be spearheading a series for Amazon Prime. It is said that this series will have nine segments, with a different director helming each part.

It is now being speculated that Suriya will be making his digital debut with this series. However, it is unclear which director he will be collaborating with for the project. An official confirmation is awaited.

Notably, Suriya has worked with Mani Ratnam earlier in the 2004 film Ayudha Ezhuthu. The actor also made his film debut with Vasanth’s Nerukku Ner, which was produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies banner.

Currently, the actor is awaiting the release of Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara. He also has Aruvaa with Hari, Vaadi Vaasal with Vetri Maaran, and a project with director Siva in the pipeline.
