Manoj Bajpayee denies playing gangster Vikas Dubey in his biopic

Actor Manoj Bajpayee has denied reports of playing gangster Vikas Dubey in his biopic. The UP gangster, who was accused of killing eight policemen last week, was shot dead in a police encounter after a car accident near Kanpur today. Soon after the news broke, Manoj was speculated to star in the criminal’s biopic. Sharing an article on the same, Manoj tweeted, “Wrong news.” 

Manon Bajpayee has previously portrayed criminals in Satya, Gangs of Wasseypur, Bandit Queen, Aks, Road, Tevar, Sonchiriya, and others.

The actor’s last release was Bhonsle on Sony LIV. He will be seen in the upcoming comedy Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
