Kiran Rao is a vast visionary, says Anand Gandhi

Director-producer Anand Gandhi recently hosted an Ask Me Anything session on social media, where he fielded questions on his works like Ship of Theseus, Tumbbad, An Insignificant Man, and others.

Responding to a question about Kiran Rao calling him the filmmaker to watch out for on a popular talk show, Anand said, "Kiran is a vast visionary with profound generosity. I am grateful to have a friend like her in my life."

Apart from this, Anand was asked about his upcoming projects, to which the filmmaker replied, "What you will see next will be as different from Tumbbad as Tumbbad was from Ship of Theseus, and that's my commitment to you."

Recently, Anand had announced his upcoming directorial, Emergence, a sci-fi story about a novel pandemic. He is also producing a sci-fi comedy series, directed by Neil Pagedar and Pooja Shetty, under his company Memesys Culture Lab.
