Actor Saif Ali Khan is being trolled for his recent comment on nepotism. In an interaction, the actor said that he too has been a victim of nepotism, although nobody speaks of that. “There is inequality in India that needs to be explored. Nepotism, favouritism and camps are different subjects. Even I have been a victim of nepotism, but nobody speaks of that. I'm happy to see more people from film institutes come to the forefront,” he said.

Reacting to Kangana Ranaut’s comments on Koffee With Karan (which he was a witness to), Saif shared, “I have no idea what Kangana was saying on Koffee with Karan because I don’t think like that. I mean if you come on to a show and if you’ve got an agenda prepared to take the host down, my mind doesn’t work like that. I don’t understand. So I was a little surprised obviously. But these issues have absolutely nothing to do with me and I tend to find myself in the middle of them. Maybe I should think sometimes before commenting.”

Saif’s comments were clowned on social media for his background and lineage.

A user wrote, “Saif Ali Khan says that he has been a victim of nepotism. Yeah that's why you had got National Award for Hum Tum instead of SRK for Swades. Slow clap for you Saif Ali Khan.”
