It was earlier reported that Malayalam actor Shane Nigam was supposed to play a role in Vikram’s upcoming film with Ajay Gnanamuthu, Cobra. 

However, the latest development is that the actor has been replaced by another Malayalam actor Sarjano Khalid, who shot to fame with roles in June and Big Brother. It is being said that Shane has been replaced because of the ban on him by the Malayalam Producers Council due to dates mismanagement. Notably, he was also replaced in Seenu Ramaswamy’s upcoming film, with Champion actor Vishnu taking his place. 

Cobra also stars KGF-fame Srinidhi Shetty and cricketer Irfan Pathan in their Tamil debuts. The crew recently completed a schedule in Kolkata.

With music by AR Rahman, Cobra is expected to hit screens this summer.
