In a surprise announcement, the makers of the romcom Oh My Kadavule have announced that director Gautham Vasudev Menon will be playing a cameo in the film.

In a statement, Producer G Dilli Babu, Axess Film Factory, says, "There are few sequences in the film which involve shooting spots and one of them had to feature a prominent artiste as a filmmaker. And we felt Gautham sir would be perfect. We are glad he agreed and is part of the film." 

Directed by debutant Aswath Marimuthu, Oh My Kadavule stars Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, and Vani Bhojan. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi is also playing an extended cameo in the film.

Oh My Kadavule will hit the screens for Valentine's Day this year.
