A 33-year-old choreographer has accused Ganesh Acharya of depriving her of work and forcing her to watch ‘adult videos’. He also allegedly demanded commission for her income.

As per reports, the woman has filed a complaint at the Maharashtra Women’s Commission and the Amboli Police Station. She has also accused Ganesh of harassing her since he became the general secretary of the Indian Film and Television Choreographer’s Association (IFTCA).

Last week, veteran choreographer Saroj Khan had lashed out against Ganesh, accusing him of paying less than the mandated fees to dancers and using his position to malign the Cine Dancers Association (CDA).

Ganesh was also named along with Nana Patekar in Tanushree Dutta’s police complaint in 2018. The actor had accused the choreographer of misbehaving with her and being complicit in her harassment. Speaking to the press, Tanushree had said that Ganesh was responsible for spoiling her career and livelihood.
