A few days ago, John Abraham’s first look from Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga was released. The film is based on the shutdown of mills in Bombay in the 80s, and also stars Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjeraker, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prateik Babbar amongst others.

According to the makers, John will be sporting four distinct looks in the film. A second look, featuring the actor in a polyester shirt and teeka, has been released today.

Asked about the varying looks of John’s character, Sanjay said, “The idea is to show John in a different light. The film is set in the 80s, and we have stayed true to the era. John's character ages from the mid-20s to the late-30s.”

John also opened up about his preparation for Mumbai Saga. “This is my third collaboration with Sanjay. We have created a different language for this gangster drama,” he said.

Mumbai Saga is co-produced by T-Series and White Feather Films. The crime drama is scheduled for release on June 19.
