The much-awaited second-look poster and title of Vijay’s upcoming film with Logesh Kanagaraj, Master, is out. The makers have released the new poster on the occasion of Pongal.

In the poster, we see Vijay looking at the camera in the middle and a group of kids facing away. The actor is in a black suit and signing for silence with a 'shoosh'. Within a few minutes, the poster went viral on social media with thousands of retweets.

Other than Vijay, Master also stars Vijay Sethupathi in the antagonist role. Sethupathi, who has earlier acted alongside Superstar Rajinikanth in Petta, is teaming up with Vijay for the first time for this film, which has created huge anticipation among fans.

Malavika Mohanan, who also acted in Petta, is the female lead in Master, which also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu, Sriman, and Ramesh Thilak.

Vijay is reportedly playing the role of a professor in the film, and the title seems to reinforce the speculations. Also, it is widely said that the film is inspired by Kamal Haasan's Nammavar (1994).

Other details about the film’s story are being kept under wraps. Produced by XB Film Creators, Master has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The makers are looking to release the film this summer.

Meanwhile, Vijay and director Logesh Kanagaraj are basking in the success of their respective latest releases — Bigil and Kaithi
