Saru makes his directorial and acting debut with Pursothrama

Saru's directorial debut will also mark his first film as an actor. Titled Pursothrama, the film is poised to be a laugh riot for the audience with actors Ravi Shankar, Gowda, Shivaraj K R Pete, and Kuri Prathap as part of the cast. 

Saru, who got trained at director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar's Institute, directed a couple of short films and music albums before deciding to become a feature film director. 

“The title, Pursothrama, refers to people who know how to kill their time. I have brought together people of different generations who have a similar mindset,” he says.

The film is made under the banner of Manasa Devi Production and is scheduled  for release on February 7.

It has music composed by Suddho Roy and cinematography by Kiran Kumar.
