The Walking Dead not ending anytime soon

The Walking Dead, one of the longest-running shows in the AMC channel, is returning next month, and the show is not ending anytime soon, according to the channel’s chief Sarah Barnett.

In a recent interview, Barnett was quoted as saying, "I think there are lots of stories to be told from this universe. And I would say this about any development at AMC — which is that it has to be creatively exceptional."

The show is based on the comic book series of the same name, which was released in 2003. The series is about a world ruled by the dead and humans fighting them together in groups. There are many groups of humans with different ideologies and that sometimes leads to rivalry.

There have been few spin-offs based on The Walking Dead franchise including Fear The Walking Dead, which is returning for the sixth season soon. In addition to that, a new spin-off series titled The Walking Dead: World Beyond is premiering towards the end of this year.

The Walking Dead appears to be here to stay and the reign of the dead will continue.
