GV Prakash roped in for Suriya-Vetri Maaran film

GV Prakash Kumar took to Twitter to announce that he is part of Suriya’s upcoming film with director Vetri Maaran. The upcoming film marks the 75th project of GVP as a composer.

GV Prakash is a frequent collaborator of the Asuran director. Except for Vada Chennai, the actor-musician has composed for all the other directorial ventures of Vetri Maaran including the filmmaker’s debut film, Polladhavan.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations, the upcoming film brings together Vetri Maaran and Suriya for the first time.

The director has also signed a film starring comedian Soori.

GV Prakash, meanwhile, has composed for Suriya’s upcoming film Soorarai Pottru, and he is also part of Kangan Ranaut’s Thalaivi, a biopic of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa.
