Ashok S is making his directorial debut with a film that has an unusual name, Sakuchi, meaning black magic. The romantic drama is based on a true-life incident experienced by the director himself.

Sakuchi will be headlined by actor Trivikrama, who made a transition from the small screen to the silver screen, and has previously starred in Navarathna and Ranganayaki. Diana Mary is paired opposite Trivikrama in Sakuchi, which also stars Sumana Rao and Manjunath Rao.

Produced by Ashwin BC, Madhukar J and Mahaveer, Sakuchi has music composed by Ganesh Govindaswamy and cinematography by Anand Sundaresha.

Sakuchi is expected to hit the screens this May.
